Do You Know What Women's Breasts Actually Look Like?
Children of both sexes have basically identical chests, as far as most people looking at them understand, so little concern is involved with breasts until something changes, attracting the attention of the girl or the parent. One indication that a young woman has reached the age of puberty, is her breasts begin to develop.

The first indication that breasts are starting to develop is when you can feel small bumps or hard pieces behind one or both nipples. Those bumps are what is known as a "Breast Bud", and they are the little beginnings of much more to come. Those are the first of the glandular tissues that will develop over the next few years to form your breasts. This can cause some concerns about cancer or other problems, but know that they are normal if they form under your nipple and your areola. They may be tender. Don't harm them or try to make them "go away". They are the building blocks of your new breasts.

You may wonder just how large your breasts will become. Or when they will be fully developed. No one can tell you that answer, but if you talk with your biological mother and your biological grandmothers (both of them), their breast history will be good indicators of what your breasts will become. Maybe. But there is a good chance that you will follow through on a similar schedule of development and as far as what size your breasts will become. But, that is still no guarantee.

There is a scale designed to help you to know how far along your development that you may be. It is called the Tanner Breast Development Scale, and it describes breast development, from Stage One which describes a five year-old child, to Stage Five, which is an adult woman's breast. You can see how this scale works if you visit my website on breasts at www.BreastNotes.com . The actual article is http://breastnotes.com/aware/aware-stages.htm

So, what if you want your breasts to be a certain size, and they don't seem to be getting there when you want them to? Sadly, you have very little control over those issues. Yes, you can pay a lot of money to a doctor and have him or her build you the size and shape of breasts that you want, but they will not be yours. And they may change. And worse than that, had you NOT surgically changed them, they MAY have turned out to be exactly what you wanted, but just later on in life. Wouldn't that be a bummer?

The best thing that anyone can advise you to do is to live a 'normal' life and be patient. Wait for your breasts to do what they want to do. And most important, learn to accept what they turn out to be as a gift that will be right for you. Don't do things that will cause your breasts to grow more or less than they want to naturally grow. For instance:
  • If you are more involved in a sport than average, so that you are exercising hard several hours a day, that could keep your body fat content low, and that reduces your body's production of estrogen, and that may delay your puberty, which means your breasts will probably not start to develop until later than you had hoped.
  • If you put on excess weight, your breasts may develop earlier and larger than you would like, because your body stores body fat in your breasts.
  • If for some reason you are placed on a hormone-based medication for acne or birth control or your moods, the hormone in that medication may change your body's natural schedule for your breast development, making them grow larger or develop later than you expected.
  • if you don't eat proper dietary selections, like you try to go on a dumb diet to be extra slim, you may change your body's schedule as well. Or maybe you are just 'too busy' with your social life to eat proper meals at the table. You want nice breasts and a good, healthy body, you have to feed it properly.
  • Except for the things mentioned above, there is nothing that you can buy to spread on your chest or take such as a pill, or any exercise such as push-ups or weight-lifting or machine or device that will increase or decrease your breast development. They will grow when and as much as your body tells them to grow, along with the DNA that your mom and dad gave you at conception.
  • No bra will ever help your breasts to grow, or slow them down. No one needs a bra. They did not exist before a century ago. The only thing they do is hold them from moving, which may make your boss happy but will cause toxins to build up inside your breasts and cause problems sooner or later. Breasts do not sag if you do not wear a bra. All breasts will sag as you get older, no matter what you do. Constantly wearing bras actually cause your breasts to sag earlier than usual.

The most important thing is for you to enjoy your body and enjoy your breasts. No one has any that are like them. They are like no other. And they are beautiful.

If you have children and you breastfeed them, your breasts will get larger and provide for them, no matter how small they are now. No breast is too small to breastfeed a child. With instruction, all healthy breasts can support a child. Breasts do not store milk until feeding time... they make milk as fast as the child needs it. On the fly so to speak. Here's a shocker: men can breastfeed a child.

How can you know what you want your breasts to look like? What SHOULD they look like? Perfect? What does a perfect breast look like? I will give you a hint: It does not look like the perfect breast of twenty years ago. And it is not going to be like the perfect breast twenty years from now. Why? Because "perfection" is very fickle. Fashions change, and what someone likes today is not what everyone likes tomorrow. And you cannot change your breasts to look like the "latest fashion" every five years like you can change your kitchen decor. You cannot afford to do that, and your breasts cannot deal with that much change.

So, what is the answer? Well, why do you not think that your breasts are perfect now? Too small? Are they even through developing? You know your breasts continue to change throughout your life, and if you are not at least twenty-five years old, you may not even be through with your puberty. Take some photos of your breasts and then do it again in six months. Did your breasts change? I'll guarantee that they will change.

Are they too large? Are you overweight? Your breasts are two-thirds fatty tissue, so any extra weight you gain MAY go straight to your breasts. If you gain weight so your breasts will get larger, the excess fat MAY go to your hips, so don't do that.

When you think of that 'perfect' breast, what do you think of? Just how many breasts have you seen? I will guarantee you that the average breast that you have seen is NOT the average breast. It is the average breast that is on display publicly. REAL WOMEN have real breasts. They are real size. But because women do not show everyone their breasts, you only see the ones that are extra large or are being paid to show them, like actresses and strippers and porn stars.

So, where an you go to see real women with real breasts? I collected 150 images from the internet, of women of all ages, with breasts of all shapes and sizes. These women are mostly nudists, so they are used to being nude regardless of what they may look like to other people. You see, these women accept their bodies and their breasts as their own, and are proud of them. Most of these images are of women that seem to be quite happy. They are not upset because their breasts are small or large or not the same size. Nudists do not get nude so they can see breasts and bodies. They are nude because they enjoy theiir bodies and enjoy being in the sun and the breeze and being comfortable. And other nudists do not see naked bodies... they see happy people, and they enjoy being around them, because they are happy. And I believe that any a couple of these images are of women that have surgically altered their breasts. Most all of them are natural.

So, no matter what your breasts look like, you will find several other women in this group that have breasts that are just like yours. And you are not the largest... or the smallest.

Look these images over... each one... and see if she is happy with her life and her body and her breasts. She is certainly not hiding them. She must be OK with them. Don't you think that you can easily fit right in among them? You look just like them.
